Tros an Treys began in 2008, so 2018 is our 10th anniversary! We will be celebrating this with a Tea Treat later in the year
We perform, teach and encourage all forms of Cornish Dancing: set, scoot, nos lowen and guise. This year we are exploring the 18th Century tunes and dances in Mike O’Connor’s ‘Petticoats Tight, Petticoats Loose’ book, and preparing a display set from these.
Tros an Treys 3
Our name means ‘clamour of feet’ reflecting the metal taps or scoots we wear on our shoes.
Our colours represent the Cornish chough, and our costumes are very eye-catching, with everyone freestyling using the red, black and silver colours!
